Wickham Farms Job Information

We accept job applications at any time. Please fill out our online job application to be considered for employment.

Wickham Farms is the hardest, FUN job that you’ll ever have. We are in the agritainment business which means people pay us to have fun on the farm.  As an employee, you interact directly with people who are looking for a fun, family-friendly activity. They are planning to spend the day with us and all they need is a little help. It’s our job to make sure they quickly find what they are looking for and have fun throughout their visit.  If this doesn’t sound like fun, DON’T apply for a job. Every year we have more applicants than we can possibly hire so if you’re not up for smiling and helping people for 6-8 hours at a time, Wickham Farms isn’t the place for you. Fair enough?

Every day is different at Wickham Farms. We cross-train our employees so they can have different jobs throughout the day. We move employees around to keep them fresh. We have indoor and outdoor tasks; more physical and less physical tasks; more interaction and less interaction tasks. If an employee gets bored at working at Wickham Farms, it’s their fault.  If having FUN, working HARD and HELPING others sounds like something you’d like to try, fill out an application!

Information for high school and college students:

A lot of students ask about working at Wickham Farms in the summer. Bear in mind that October is our busiest month! Our biggest consideration – after your experience and personality – is your availability to work after school and weekends in September and October. Employees who do a good job at that time of year are invited to return the following spring and summer. As a result, we rarely hire applicants who are only available to work in the summer.

Our minimum age for employees is 16.

Information for adults:

We are always looking for adults who can work in the following capacities:

Retail Staff: This includes cooking, serving customers, cleaning and so on. You must be able to work on your feet for six hours at a time, and lift up to 25 pounds. Our greatest need is people who are available to work during the school day in September and October.

Field trip coordinators (October only): We give preference to people with teaching experience, but any adult who has an outgoing personality and enjoys working with children is welcome to apply.

CSA Harvest Staff: If you like working outside, we often have openings working in the field, doing such tasks as planting, weeding and picking vegetables. This is physical work, so please apply only if you’re up to such tasks.
